How do Findroo trackers work?
Most of our devices connect via Bluetooth or GPS and integrate with the Apple Find My app. You can track the last known location of your items, make the device ring, or get notified if you leave something behind.
Are Findroo trackers waterproof?
Yes! Most of our trackers are IP67 or IP68 waterproof rated, meaning they can withstand rain, splashes, and accidental drops into water.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life varies by model:
- Rechargeable models: Last 3–7 months per charge
- Replaceable battery models: Last up to 12 months or 3 years
Is it compatible with Android phones?
Some of our trackers are Apple-only, but others may support Android apps like iSearching. Please check the product description for compatibility before purchasing.
How do I charge the device?
If your model supports charging, it will use wireless charging — simply place it on a Qi wireless charger. No cables needed.
Do I need to install an app?
For Apple-compatible devices, you don't need to install any third-party apps — just use the Apple Find My app already built into your iPhone or iPad.
What is the range of the tracker?
- Bluetooth range: Up to 130 ft (40 meters)
- GPS-based models: Offer global coverage through Apple’s Find My network or satellite signals.
Can I use the tracker for pets or kids?
Yes, absolutely. Our GPS trackers are ideal for pets, children, bags, wallets, keys, or anything valuable you don’t want to lose.
What happens if I lose my tracker?
If someone else finds it, they can tap it (if NFC is supported) to see your contact details (if you set it). You can also enable Lost Mode in the app to help recover it faster.
Do I need a subscription to use Findroo products?
No. There are no monthly fees or subscriptions required. Just buy the device, pair it, and start tracking.
